Doctrine A set of principles that are taught or preached to others. Biblically the Doctrine of Jesus Christ that was taught by the Apostles was:
  • Believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, the Spirit of God manifested in the Flesh.
  • Believe that Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross as the sacrifice for the sins of the world.
  • Believing that we can have access to his saving power spiritually through his blood.
  • Repenting from a sinful life-asking God's forgiveness and turning away from sin.
  • Be Baptized by being immersed in water and invoking the name of Jesus Christ to remove the offenses from your conscience.
  • Receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, the indwelling Spirit of God in the soul.
  • Live Holy and do not return to sin.
  • Work on your relationship with God, perfecting your life in God.
Charity The Love of God. The Love of God was manifested by the sacrifices that God has made for his creation. God loved Israel and sacrificed Egypt for them. God loves man and sacrificed Himself as his Son in the flesh on the cross.
Goodness Benevolence. Doing good things for others.
Repentance To turn away from your life in sin.
Remission To be separated from your sins. Remission of sins only comes through water baptism.
Forgiveness
Holiness Separation from sin and worldliness for God's purposes
Righteousness Without blame in the eyes of God and in the eyes of man.
Grace God's goodness toward us.
Sin Offense against the laws of God
Abomination a deed or idea that is hateful against God's laws.
The World The world of sinful man where man is prone to follow the lusts of the flesh.
